On Monday morning we had to do 3 challenges we had to make a bridge a car and a tower. We won 1 of the challenges and that was the tower challenge our tower was 1 meter 73 cm. I was so happy my car went abut 3 meters when we made the cars we had to make a car out of normal Lego the second car we had to make out of Lego technic, that one went 5 meters. Our bridge was 20 cm it could hold 3 books and a pencil case it shattered everywhere. The whole morning was so fun.
Have you ever had House of Bricks come to your school?
I am a student at St Francis of Assisi Catholic School. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

Spelling at school
Last term we did a spelling test so we could find out how good we are at spelling.
This term we have a spelling slide and every week we have to do spelling.
The words we had to spell had to have an or AR or an er at the end we had to do a sentence.
Here is one of my sentences: There was an owl and it went pow! At the cow of the tower.
Do you do spelling at your school?

Games for kind kids
PBL - Term 1
This term our Project Based Learning (PBL) has been about kindness and the big question was: How can we build community through our actions?
First, we explored some collaborative activities and discussed how we could include kindness and build a sense of community through our actions at camp. Next, we were organised into groups where we had to unpack the above question. In our groups we considered how we could spread community and kindness through our entire school community. We decided that we would offer something that was free and would make others happy.
We created an action plan and after taking with each other we decided to run games for the Paiaka students.I came up with the idea of giving out tokens as an entry to the game.
Reflection:
For our final product our group decided to do three game's with the younger students.
I contributed by I printed out the certificates designed and cut out tokens and ran a rippa rugby game
I think it might impact on others by making them happy.
What I learned about working with others was that it was fun and wasn't always easy.
